Road Assistance
All citizens in possession of motor vehicles registered in the Federation of B&H are entitled to the following services FREE OF CHARGE:
- Information on road and driving conditions in Bosnia and Herzegovina;
- Technical Assistance to enable safe continuation of journey (i.e. repair of slight vehicle damages);
- Removal of defective and damaged vehicles from the road to the AMC headquarter or nearest repair station to enable undisturbed traffic flow (i.e. if determined that the defect can't be removed on site).
When a traffic user in possession of motor vehicle requests technical assistance on the road, the Service provider is required, if possible, to put the vehicle in function and enable continuation of journey. Road assistance doesn't imply any repair of the vehicle in the repair service.
Having found that the vehicle may not be put into function, the Services Provider is required to remove the vehicle from pavement by taking it to its headquarter or to the nearest vehicle repair service or, when requested by the owner, to the appropriate parking lot to a maximum of 3 km from the location of the fault. If the user of the service insists on transporting the vehicle to a location that doesn't meet the foregoing, the Services Provider will perform the requested activity on the expense of the user.
Road Assistance and Information services can be obtained free of charge once a month and up to three (3) times a year. Defective vehicles in private areas, i.e. garage, parking lots etc. are not covered by free road assistance services.
Following the Agreement with the PC Roads of the FB&H, Road Assistance and Information Services on public roads are provided by the following entities:
