Presentation of Climate Resilience Risk Assessment Project for the Main Road Network in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has been organized today in Sarajevo in the business premises of the FBH Roads.
Final meeting and project summary was attended by the representatives of the World Bank as the financing institution, FBH Roads as a Client and the Consultant - Finnish Overseas Consultants (FinnOC) Ltd. Finland, RoadroidAB Sweden and Design & QC d.o.o. Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The task concluded provision of risk assessment of road sections based on hazard data and climate change analyses. For each one of the selected road section (out of the 2241 km of main road network managed by the FBH Roads), the Consultant made the risk assessment of: flooding, landslides, rock fall, snow cover (avalanches) and wildfire and therefore provided the list of priority interventions.
Project schedule encompasses the period of one year (closing date 2 March 2022) and amounts to EUR 482,000.
