Contracts for Reconstruction of the Tunnel Crnaja and Construction of Road Section dionica Stolovi – Drenovac at Main Road M17.3
Contract for the Reconstruction of the Tunnel Crnaja at the main road M17, section Konjic – Jablanica was signed today in Sarajevo.
The contract was signed by Ljubo Pravdić, director of the PC Roads of the FBH and the representatives of the JV composed of HP Investing d.o.o. Mostar and Euro-Asfalt d.o.o. Sarajevo. The value of the contract is BAM 12, 8 million inclusive of VAT. Works will be funded by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and European Investment Bank (EIB) credit funds.
Preparatory works at the site will commence on 1 July 2019 while the main reconstruction works shall not commence until the end of the tourist and the summer holidays season. Date of completion of the contract is 15 December 2020.
Furthermore, the contract for the Constructon of the road section Stolovi – Drenovac at the main road M17.3 Neum – Stolac (L= 8.785 m), part of the Federation Roads Modernization Programme was signed today too. The Contractor is JV HP Investing d.o.o. Mostar, Putovi d.o.o. Grude and Euro-Asfalt d.o.o. Sarajevo. The value of the contract is BAM 17, 5 million inclusive of VAT and it will be funded from the IBRD and EIB credit proceedings. Date of commencement of 15 July 2019 while the date of completion is 485 days.
Given the soil morphology of road section Konjic – Jablanica, the extremely poor condition of the Tunnel Crnaja and the urgency and complexity of the reconstruction itself, as well as the fact that there are no alternative roads to redirect the traffic, PC Roads of the FBH urges the traffic participants to exercise maximum understanding and patience during the works execution.
