Construction of XII Transversal
A meeting on the intensification of the activities under XII Transversal Project was held today in Sarajevo, in the business premises of the FBH Roads.
The meeting was attended by the Mayor of Ilidža Municipality, Nermin Muzur, assistant mayors of Novi Grad Municipality, director of the Roads Directorate of Sarajevo Canton, Selmir Kovač and his colleagues, as well as the Management and representatives of FBH Roads.
In accordance with the FBH Government's decision on the adoption of the Program of "Capital Transfers to Public Companies - Co-financing of the construction of the XII Transversal, the connection from Stup Interchange to Sarajevo International Airport" dated 6 April 2023, FBH Roads was appointed as the implementer of the above project. Approved funds in the amount of BAM 2 million are intended for design and expropriation matters.
Given the importance of this project for the Sarajevo Canton, the city of Sarajevo, and the municipalities of Ilidža and Novi Grad, and earlier joint activities on the implementation of this project, a meeting of all interested parties was held in order to understand the issues and jointly coordinate activities to overcome them, to successfully implement the approved funds.
